Dear Families

               Come join us this Friday, May 3^rd at 8:30 am for the Crowning of Mary at St. George. A long-standing tradition in the Church and at St. George School, this important reminder during the month of May—the month of Mary, helps us remember that Mary is Queen of Heaven and Earth. We pause to give thanks for Mary’s important role in the life of Christ and in the life of the Church. If you are able to attend, you are most welcome.

               In addition, we will have Fr. Jesus Hernandez Ramirez here from Mexico with an image of Our Lady of the Rosary. He will be celebrating the 1 pm Mass on Sunday, May 5^th. There will be a novena of rosaries in anticipation of the image coming here to Seattle to be with us.

               Finally, on May 18^th at the 6 pm Mass at St. Edward we will have another opportunity to crown Mary. We encourage our young people who received their First Holy Communion last weekend to come in their communion clothes to help in the festivities. Mary, Queen of Heaven, pray for us!

Queridas familias

Únase a nosotros este viernes 3 de mayo a las 8:30 am para la Coronación de María en St. George. Este importante recordatorio durante el mes de mayo, el mes de María, una tradición de larga data en la Iglesia y en la Escuela St. George, nos ayuda a recordar que María es la Reina del Cielo y de la Tierra. Hacemos una pausa para dar gracias por el importante papel de María en la vida de Cristo y en la vida de la Iglesia. Si puedes asistir, eres bienvenido.

Además, contaremos con el P. Jesús Hernández Ramírez aquí desde México con una imagen de Nuestra Señora del Rosario. Celebrará la Misa de la 1 pm el domingo 5 de mayo. Habrá una novena de rosarios en anticipación de que la imagen venga aquí a Seattle para estar con nosotros.

Finalmente, el 18 de mayo en la Misa de las 6 pm en St. Edward tendremos otra oportunidad de coronar a María. Animamos a nuestros jóvenes que recibieron su Primera Comunión el fin de semana pasado a que vengan con su ropa de comunión para ayudar en las festividades. ¡María, Reina del Cielo, ¡ruega por nosotros!

Cuối cùng, vào ngày 18 tháng 5 trong Thánh lễ lúc 6 giờ chiều tại St. Edward, chúng ta sẽ có một cơ hội khác để đội vương miện cho Đức Maria. Chúng tôi khuyến khích những người trẻ đã rước lễ lần đầu vào cuối tuần trước hãy mặc trang phục rước lễ để giúp đỡ trong các lễ hội. Lạy Mẹ Maria, Nữ Vương Thiên Đàng, cầu cho chúng con!
