Dear Families

Happy Father’s Day to all our fathers and grandfathers! We are so grateful as a Church for the living witness you give to your children and grandchildren of faith and joy. The ongoing example that you are as a man of faith is something that has a lasting effect on the lives of our community-especially our young people. Thank you for continuing to live out your faith life as a witness and example of love.

This week Fr. Armando and I will be at Priest Days down at Ocean Shores. Please keep all of the priests throughout the archdiocese in your prayers. This year as we transition to the Partners in the Gospel model, we could all use a little extra prayer and support. Thank you to those of you from our South Seattle Family for making the transition so successful.

¡Feliz Día del Padre a todos nuestros padres y abuelos! Estamos muy agradecidos como Iglesia por el testimonio vivo que das a tus hijos y nietos de fe y alegría. El ejemplo continuo de que usted es un hombre de fe es algo que tiene un efecto duradero en las vidas de nuestra comunidad, especialmente en nuestros jóvenes. Gracias por continuar viviendo tu vida de fe como testimonio y ejemplo de amor.

Esta semana el P. Armando y yo estaremos en Priest Days en Ocean Shores. Por favor mantengan a todos los sacerdotes de la arquidiócesis en sus oraciones. Este año, mientras hacemos la transición al modelo de Compañeros en el Evangelio, a todos nos vendría bien un poco más de oración y apoyo. Gracias a aquellos de ustedes de nuestra familia del sur de Seattle por hacer que la transición fuera tan exitosa.
