Dear Families
We are so grateful for your presence here with us this Christmas. Whether you are a longtime parishioner, a family member of one of our parishioners, or a visitor who is with us for the first time; you are most welcome. We strive to be a safe place for people to land if they are looking for a place of refuge. We strive to be a witness to those who need hope. We strive to care for others in our efforts to be more faithful. We hope you find a home with us not just this weekend, but throughout the coming New Year!
Many of you have heard lately about the Partners in the Gospel initiative which will be shared with the parishes throughout the Archdiocese this January. It is fairly certain that our current configuration of the four parish cluster (St. George, St. Edward, St. Paul, and St. Peter) will remain as one Parish Family. We are grateful for the continuity which this will provide us as a cluster. We’ll keep you informed as we know more.
May the joy of Christmas and the Hope that the Christ child brings, give you a stronger sense of connectedness to His people on earth. If you would like to learn more about our parish community and how you might become more actively involved, give us your name and number and we will get back to you right after January 1st. Please put your information on this sheet and we will give you a call.
As we prepare for a New Year, I invite you to make a New Year’s Resolution to become more actively involved in your faith. Merry Christmas to you and yours during this blessed time of year.
Yours in Christ,
Fr. Scott Connolly
Pastor
