Dear Families
Next weekend we celebrate two wonderful moments in the life of our communities— Mother’s Day and Confirmation ! We will be offering all of the Masses next weekend for all of our Moms—living and deceased. So many of them have helped pass on the faith to us their children and we are forever grateful. What better way can you express your love and appreciation then taking your Mom to Mass next week! We are so grateful for all the women of our parishes who have taken on a “motherly role” in the lives of so many of our people. Please keep them in prayer and thank them for all they do for us.
In addition, next Saturday evening we will celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation with 76 youth and adults from all four of our parishs’ communities. We welcome Bishop Eusebio Elizondo as presider over the 6 pm Mass on Saturday, May 13, at St. Edward Parish . Please hold these confirmandi in your prayers this week as they prepare for this sacrament of initiation and strengthening. We are so grateful to Fr. Armando and his wonderful team who have been helping them to prepare for this moment. Come join the celebration!

El próximo fin de semana celebramos dos momentos maravillosos en la vida de nuestras comunidades: ¡ el Día de la Madre y la Confirmación ! Estaremos ofreciendo todas las misas el próximo fin de semana para todas nuestras mamás, vivas y fallecidas. Muchos de ellos han ayudado a transmitirnos la fe a sus hijos y estamos eternamente agradecidos. ¡Qué mejor manera puedes expresar tu amor y aprecio que llevar a tu mamá a Misa la próxima semana! Estamos muy agradecidos por todas las mujeres de nuestras parroquias que han asumido un "papel maternal" en la vida de tantos de nuestra gente. Por favor manténgalos en oración y agradézcales por todo lo que hacen por nosotros.
Además, el próximo sábado por la noche celebraremos el Sacramento de la Confirmación con 76 jóvenes y adultos de las cuatro comunidades de nuestras parroquias. Damos la bienvenida al obispo Eusebio Elizondo como presidente de la misa de las 6 pm el sábado en la parroquia de San Eduardo . Tenga a estos confirmandos en sus oraciones esta semana mientras se preparan para este sacramento de iniciación y fortalecimiento. Estamos muy agradecidos con el P. Armando y su maravilloso equipo que los ha estado ayudando a prepararse para este momento. ¡Únete a la celebración!

Cuối tuần tới, chúng ta kỷ niệm hai khoảnh khắc tuyệt vời trong cuộc sống của cộng đồng chúng ta—Ngày của Mẹ và Lễ Thêm Sức! Chúng tôi sẽ cử hành tất cả các Thánh lễ vào cuối tuần tới cho tất cả những người Mẹ của chúng tôi—còn sống và đã qua đời. Rất nhiều người trong số họ đã giúp truyền lại đức tin cho con cháu chúng tôi và chúng tôi mãi mãi biết ơn. Còn cách nào tốt hơn để bạn có thể bày tỏ tình yêu và lòng biết ơn của mình bằng cách đưa mẹ bạn đi lễ vào tuần tới! Chúng tôi rất biết ơn tất cả các phụ nữ trong giáo xứ của chúng tôi, những người đã đảm nhận “vai trò người mẹ” trong cuộc sống của rất nhiều người dân của chúng tôi. Xin hãy cầu nguyện cho họ và cảm ơn họ vì tất cả những gì họ làm cho chúng ta.
Ngoài ra, vào tối thứ Bảy tới, chúng tôi sẽ cử hành Bí tích Thêm Sức với 76 thanh niên và người lớn từ cả bốn cộng đồng giáo xứ của chúng tôi. Chúng tôi chào đón Đức Giám mục Eusebio Elizondo làm chủ tế Thánh lễ lúc 6 giờ chiều Thứ Bảy, ngày 13 tháng 5, tại Giáo xứ St. Edward. Vui lòng giữ những lời xác nhận này trong lời cầu nguyện của bạn trong tuần này khi chúng chuẩn bị cho bí tích khai tâm và củng cố này. Chúng tôi rất biết ơn Fr.
