Dear Families

               This year we plan to do our Faith Formation Registration a little bit earlier than we have done in years past. We will begin registration for First Communion, Confirmation, OCIA, and youth ministry on August 10^th and 11^th after all the Masses. We hope that all our children are able to participate in some form or another. OCIA for youth and adults is geared to those who are older than seven years old and have not yet been baptized. First Reconciliation and First Communion is set for those young people in second grade or older. The Confirmation age has moved to Seventh Grade, so anyone who is older than that is welcome as well. We’ve had several young people in High School who have been a part of the Confirmation process as well as other young adults. We began a new Youth Ministry program this past year for 6^th-8^th graders and many of our High Schoolers may want to help us lead that program as well. We are always looking for volunteers. If you feel called to help us out with any of these programs, please call the parish office and let us know. See you this fall.

Queridas familias

Este año planeamos hacer nuestro Registro de Formación de Fe un poco antes que en años anteriores. Comenzaremos la inscripción para Primera Comunión, Confirmación, OCIA y ministerio juvenil el 10 y 11 de agosto después de todas las Misas. Esperamos que todos nuestros niños puedan participar de una forma u otra. OCIA para jóvenes y adultos está dirigida a personas mayores de siete años que aún no han sido bautizadas. La Primera Reconciliación y Primera Comunión está fijada para aquellos jóvenes de segundo grado en adelante. La edad de Confirmación se ha trasladado al Séptimo Grado, por lo que cualquier persona mayor también es bienvenida. Hemos tenido varios jóvenes en la escuela secundaria que han sido parte del proceso de Confirmación, así como otros jóvenes adultos. Comenzamos un nuevo programa de Ministerio Juvenil el año pasado para estudiantes de 6º a 8º grado y es posible que muchos de nuestros estudiantes de secundaria quieran ayudarnos a liderar ese programa también. Siempre estamos buscando voluntarios. Si se siente llamado a ayudarnos con cualquiera de estos programas, llame a la oficina parroquial e infórmenos. Nos vemos este otoño.

Năm nay chúng tôi dự định thực hiện Đăng ký Hình thành Niềm tin sớm hơn một chút so với những năm trước. Chúng tôi sẽ bắt đầu đăng ký Rước lễ lần đầu, Thêm sức, OCIA và mục vụ giới trẻ vào ngày 10 và 11 tháng 8 sau các Thánh lễ. Chúng tôi hy vọng rằng tất cả trẻ em của chúng tôi có thể tham gia dưới hình thức này hay hình thức khác. OCIA dành cho thanh thiếu niên và người lớn dành cho những người trên bảy tuổi và chưa được rửa tội. Bí tích Hoà giải và Rước lễ lần đầu được tổ chức cho các bạn trẻ từ lớp hai trở lên. Độ tuổi Thêm sức đã chuyển sang Lớp Bảy, vì vậy bất kỳ ai lớn hơn độ tuổi đó cũng được chào đón. Chúng tôi có một số bạn trẻ ở trường Trung học đã tham gia vào quá trình Thêm sức cũng như những thanh niên khác. Chúng tôi đã bắt đầu một chương trình Mục vụ Thanh niên mới vào năm ngoái dành cho học sinh lớp 6-8 và nhiều Học sinh Trung học của chúng tôi cũng có thể muốn giúp chúng tôi lãnh đạo chương trình đó. Chúng tôi luôn tìm kiếm tình nguyện viên. Nếu bạn cảm thấy được kêu gọi để giúp chúng tôi thực hiện bất kỳ chương trình nào trong số này, vui lòng gọi cho văn phòng giáo xứ và cho chúng tôi biết.
