We are in the process of gearing up for our Faith Formation Programs again this fall. As school starts, so too do many of our religious education offerings. This year, we are very excited to announce that we will begin a new Youth Ministry Program for Middle School students! We plan to offer fun activities, prayer experiences, service work and other activities that the young people wish to do. Jennifer met recently with a great group of adults and youth who will help her put some ideas into action. Please stay tuned and we will keep you informed.
In addition, we will offer Confirmation preparation for all seventh graders (and older) starting on September 17th at 2:30 pm (right after the Spanish Mass) in the Hall at St. Edward. Any second through sixth grader who would like to receiver his/her First Communion, is welcome to register for that as well. If you know of someone who is seven years old or older, please tell them about the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults and Children (OCIA). The adults will be meeting every Monday at 5 pm and the youth meet on the first and third Sundays of each month.
Registration will take place next weekend after all the Masses. Please make sure to get the information and sign up soon. For First Communion and Confirmation we will be closing registration for new students once the classes begin. Please make sure to get us the information asap. Looking forward to another great year!

Estamos en el proceso de prepararnos para nuestros Programas de Formación de Fe nuevamente este otoño. A medida que comienzan las clases, también lo hacen muchas de nuestras ofertas de educación religiosa. ¡Este año, estamos muy emocionados de anunciar que comenzaremos un nuevo Programa de Ministerio Juvenil para estudiantes de secundaria! Planeamos ofrecer actividades divertidas, experiencias de oración, trabajo de servicio y otras actividades que los jóvenes deseen realizar. Jennifer se reunió recientemente con un gran grupo de adultos y jóvenes que la ayudarán a poner algunas ideas en acción. Estén atentos y los mantendremos informados.
Además, ofreceremos preparación para la Confirmación para todos los estudiantes de séptimo grado (y mayores) a partir del 17 de septiembre a las 2:30 pm (justo después de la Misa en español) en el Salón de St. Edward. Cualquier estudiante de segundo a sexto grado que desee recibir su Primera Comunión también puede registrarse para hacerlo. Si conoce a alguien que tenga siete años o más, infórmele sobre la Orden de Iniciación Cristiana de Adultos y Niños (OICA). Los adultos se reunirán todos los lunes a las 5 pm y los jóvenes se reunirán el primer y tercer domingo de cada mes.
La inscripción se llevará a cabo el próximo fin de semana después de todas las Misas. Asegúrese de obtener la información y registrarse pronto. Para Primera Comunión y Confirmación cerraremos la inscripción para nuevos estudiantes una vez que comiencen las clases. Asegúrese de enviarnos la información lo antes posible. ¡Esperando otro gran año!

Năm nay, chúng tôi rất vui mừng thông báo rằng chúng tôi sẽ bắt đầu Chương trình Mục vụ Thanh niên mới dành cho học sinh Trung học Cơ sở! Chúng tôi dự định tổ chức các hoạt động vui chơi, trải nghiệm cầu nguyện, công việc phục vụ và các hoạt động khác mà các bạn trẻ mong muốn thực hiện. Gần đây Jennifer đã gặp một nhóm người lớn và thanh niên tuyệt vời, những người sẽ giúp cô biến một số ý tưởng thành hành động. Hãy theo dõi và chúng tôi sẽ thông báo cho bạn.
Ngoài ra, chúng tôi sẽ chuẩn bị cho Bí tích Thêm sức cho tất cả học sinh lớp bảy (trở lên) bắt đầu từ ngày 17 tháng 9 lúc 2:30 chiều (ngay sau Thánh lễ tiếng Tây Ban Nha) tại Hội trường St. Edward. Bất kỳ học sinh lớp hai đến lớp sáu nào muốn được Rước lễ lần đầu cũng có thể đăng ký. Nếu bạn biết ai đó từ bảy tuổi trở lên, xin vui lòng cho họ biết về Dòng Khai tâm Kitô giáo cho Người lớn và Trẻ em (OCIA). Người lớn sẽ gặp nhau vào lúc 5 giờ chiều Thứ Hai hàng tuần và giới trẻ sẽ gặp nhau vào Chúa nhật thứ nhất và thứ ba hàng tháng.
Việc đăng ký sẽ diễn ra vào cuối tuần tới sau các Thánh lễ. Hãy nhanh chóng nắm bắt thông tin và đăng ký nhé. Đối với Rước lễ lần đầu và Thêm sức, chúng tôi sẽ ngừng đăng ký cho học viên mới sau khi lớp học bắt đầu. Hãy đảm bảo cung cấp cho chúng tôi thông tin càng sớm càng tốt.
