Dear Families

               Every year at Thanksgiving we ask parishioners to bring food for the poor and an item of food from their Thanksgiving table which we will bless and bring back home. In addition, the entire collection that day goes to our St. Vincent de Paul Conferences in each parish. Also, we will begin having a second collection for SVdP on the First Weekend of each month. We’ll work on putting envelopes back in your packets, but in the meantime, we will have special envelopes out specifically for SVdP.

Here is the Mass schedule for Thanksgiving this year:

Wednesday, Nov. 22                      St. Edward 7 pm (Vigil of Thanksgiving)

Thursday, Nov. 23                           St. Paul 8:30 am

Thursday, Nov. 23                           St. George 10:30 am (Vietnamese)

Thursday, Nov. 23                           St. Peter 10:30 am

Queridas familias

               Cada año, durante el Día de Acción de Gracias, pedimos a los feligreses que traigan comida para los pobres y un alimento de su mesa de Acción de Gracias que bendeciremos y llevaremos a casa. Además, toda la colecta de ese día se destina a nuestras Conferencias de San Vicente de Paúl en cada parroquia. Además, comenzaremos a tener una segunda colecta para SVdP el primer fin de semana de cada mes. Trabajaremos para volver a colocar sobres en sus paquetes, pero mientras tanto, tendremos sobres especiales específicamente para SVdP.

               Aquí está el horario de misas para el Día de Acción de Gracias de este año:

Miércoles 22 de noviembre St. Edward 7 pm (Vigilia de Acción de Gracias)

Jueves 23 de noviembre St. Paul 8:30 am

Jueves 23 de noviembre St. George 10:30 am (vietnamita)

Jueves 23 de noviembre San Pedro 10:30 am

Quý Ông Bà Anh Chị Em Thân Mến,

Mỗi năm vào ngày Lễ Tạ ơn, chúng ta có chương trình rất đặc biệt là yêu cầu mỗi giáo dân mang thức ăn cho người nghèo khó hoặc một món ăn từ bàn tiệc của ngày Lễ Tạ ơn của gia đình, chúng ta trao ơn phước để họ có thể mang về nhà. Ngoài ra, toàn bộ số tiền quyên góp vào ngày đó sẽ được chuyển đến các Hội St. Vincent de Paul tại mỗi giáo xứ. Ngoài ra, chúng ta sẽ bắt đầu thu tiền quyên góp lần thứ hai cho SVdP vào cuối tuần đầu tiên của mỗi tháng. Chúng ta sẽ làm các phong bì và bản thông tin, trong thời gian chờ đợi, chúng ta sẽ có các phong bì đặc biệt dành riêng cho chương trình giúp SVdP.
