In partnership with Santa Clara University, we are in a very unique position to offer a few different workshops dealing with the new “Partners in the Gospel” initiative. We had a great turnout of over eighty people who attended our initial Listening Session this past weekend at St. George School. People were able to share their insights and listen to the Holy Spirit and the voices of their fellow parishioners.
Please join us for a morning workshop as we explore the skills of spiritual accompaniment. In partnership with the Markey Center for Ministry and Leadership, at Santa Clara University, we have planned three workshops (October 21st, January 20th, and March 2nd), designed to help our community foster understanding and collaboration; gifts essential to strengthen one another as Partners in the Gospel. The emerging church model invites us to discern the movement of the spirit for our parish family. In keeping with Pope Francis' reminder that we seek unity but not uniformity, every voice matters. In this first workshop we’ll explore the importance of listening to yourself and to others, and the Ignatian Examen as a practice for discernment. Please join us Saturday, October 21, from 9:30 to 11:30. Actually, we’ll begin with coffee, juice, fruit and pastries at 9 am!

En asociación con la Universidad de Santa Clara, estamos en una posición única para ofrecer algunos talleres diferentes relacionados con la nueva iniciativa “Compañeros en el Evangelio”. Tuvimos una gran participación de más de ochenta personas que asistieron a nuestra sesión de escucha inicial el fin de semana pasado en la escuela St. George. Las personas pudieron compartir sus ideas y escuchar al Espíritu Santo y las voces de sus compañeros feligreses.
Únase a nosotros en un taller matutino mientras exploramos las habilidades del acompañamiento espiritual. En asociación con el Centro Markey para el Ministerio y el Liderazgo de la Universidad de Santa Clara, hemos planificado tres talleres (21 de octubre, 20 de enero y 2 de marzo), diseñados para ayudar a nuestra comunidad a fomentar la comprensión y la colaboración; dones esenciales para fortalecernos unos a otros como Socios en el Evangelio. El modelo de iglesia emergente nos invita a discernir el movimiento del espíritu para nuestra familia parroquial. De acuerdo con el recordatorio del Papa Francisco de que buscamos la unidad pero no la uniformidad, cada voz importa. En este primer taller exploraremos la importancia de escucharse a uno mismo y a los demás, y el Examen Ignaciano como práctica de discernimiento. Únase a nosotros el sábado 21 de octubre de 9:30 a 11:30. De hecho, ¡empezaremos con café, zumo, fruta y bollería a las 9 am!

Dưới sự hợp tác với Đại học Santa Clara, vị thế rất độc đáo mà chúng ta được hợp tác để tổ chức một buổi hội thảo khác, khá hấp dẫn nói về chương trình Đối Tác trong Tin Mừng "Partners in the Gospel". Cuối tuần qua, chúng ta đã có một sự tham dự khá đông hơn tám chục giáo dân có mặt trong buổi Thảo luận lần đầu được tổ tại hội trường của Trường Học St. George. Hầu hết mọi người đã có cơ hội chia sẻ quan điểm của chính mình và cùng nhau lắng nghe Chúa Thánh Thần và những giáo dân khác trong 4 giáo xứ.

Trong buổi hội thảo đầu tiên này, chúng ta sẽ khám phá tầm quan trọng của việc lắng nghe bản thân và người khác, và Bài khảo sát I-Nhã như một thực hành để phân định.
