Dear Families

               As Advent begins next weekend, we have several different opportunities for people to get involved and prayerfully engage in this wonderful season. First, you can participate in one of our Reconciliation Services. Second, you can join one of our small faith sharing groups (deadline is this weekend). Third, you can decide as a family to maybe forego presents and instead get some tags off the Giving Tree and buy presents for those who are in need. Fourth, you can make an Advent Wreathe to put on your table and offer a prayer each night for peace in our world. Fifth, you can come up with one of your own creative ideas to make this Advent special.

We’ll be sending out an Advent/Christmas newsletter this week (by email and sent to your homes) with the schedule for liturgies, but also some helpful information regarding this holy season and how you can put it in front of you more this year. If you don’t get one of these newsletters by mail or email, please let us know because we may not have your information down properly. Blessed Advent to all of you!

Queridas familias

               Al comenzar el Adviento el próximo fin de semana, tenemos varias oportunidades diferentes para que las personas se involucren y participen en oración en esta maravillosa temporada. Primero, puede participar en uno de nuestros Servicios de Conciliación. En segundo lugar, puedes unirte a uno de nuestros pequeños grupos para compartir la fe (la fecha límite es este fin de semana). En tercer lugar, pueden decidir como familia renunciar a los regalos y, en su lugar, obtener algunas etiquetas del Árbol de Donaciones y comprar regalos para aquellos que los necesitan. Cuarto, puedes hacer una corona de Adviento para ponerla en tu mesa y ofrecer una oración cada noche por la paz en nuestro mundo. Quinto, puedes proponer una de tus propias ideas creativas para hacer que este Adviento sea especial.

Enviaremos un boletín informativo de Adviento/Navidad esta semana (por correo electrónico y enviado a sus hogares) con el calendario de liturgias, pero también información útil sobre esta temporada santa y cómo pueden presentarla más este año. Si no recibe uno de estos boletines por correo postal o electrónico, infórmenos porque es posible que no tengamos su información registrada correctamente. ¡Bendito Adviento para todos ustedes!

Khi Mùa Chay bắt đầu vào cuối tuần tới, chúng ta có một số cơ hội khác nhau để mọi người tham gia và hòa mình vào mùa linh thiêng này với tâm nguyện.

·        Thứ nhất, OBACE có thể tham dự một trong những ngày Bích Tích Hòa giải trong Giáo Xứ.

·        Thứ hai, OBACE có thể tham gia một trong những nhóm nhỏ trong cộng đoàn / giáo xứ để cùng nhau chia sẻ đức tin của mỗi người (hạn chót là cuối tuần này).

·        Thứ ba, gia đình quý OBACE có thể cùng tham gia vào việc công ích bằng cách tặng quà hoặc góp phần chia sẻ, bằng cách có thể mua một món quà nhỏ tặng cho những ai đang khó khăn, như một thẻ Gift Card hoặc Tặng một món quà nhỏ ý nghĩa có thể giúp ích cho những ai thiếu thốn.

·        Thứ tư, quý OBACE có thể tự làm một Vòng Hoa có Đèn hoặc Nến để đặt trên bàn và mỗi đêm cùng nhau cầu nguyện cho hòa bình trên thế giới.

·        Thứ năm, quý OBACE có thể suy nghĩ và tạo ra với một ý tưởng sáng tạo của riêng mình để làm cho Mùa Chay này trở nên đặc biệt và linh thiêng.

Chúng tôi sẽ gửi một bản tin Mùa Chay/ Giáng Sinh trong tuần này (qua email và gửi đến nhà bạn) với lịch trình phụng vụ các thánh lễ, cũng như một số thông tin hữu ích về mùa Chay linh thiêng này và đó là cách chúng ta có thể tận hưởng và suy tư nhiều hơn trong mùa Chay năm nay. Nếu quý OBACE không nhận được bản tin qua thư hoặc email, hãy thông báo cho Giáo Xứ vì có thể chúng tôi không có thông tin địa chỉ và email của OBACE được cập nhật.
