Dear Families

                Happy Catholic Schools’ Week! We are so grateful for the blessings of our Catholic Schools and I wanted to highlight the schools we have here in our Cluster. We are so proud of the great things that are happening here in South Seattle. First of all, I want to thank all of our faculty and staff at St. George Parish School . We are basically at capacity and things are humming over there! We have a great student body, wonderful teachers, great parents and families, and a wonderful Principal. We look forward to our Auction on March 11 ^th and invite any alumni and friends to come and celebrate with us. Secondly, I’d like to say a word of congratulations to our Early Learning Center at St. Paul . They were recently awarded a $308,000 grant from the city of Seattle to expand two more classrooms in the next couple of years! We also want to congratulate our partners at St. Edward— Seattle Nativity School ! They continue to offer a top-notch Jesuit education to young people in Middle school who might not ordinarily be able to afford a Catholic education. We are proud of the ministry they provide. Speaking of Jesuit education, many of you may not have heard yet that we have a new High School coming into the area! Cristo Rey High School will open its doors to incoming Freshmen in September of 2024. The people of St. Paul parish are in the final stages of completing a lease with Cristo Rey and look forward to a long-term relationship with this innovative program. In addition, the lower field at St. Paul was sold to O’Dea High School , and they will be using it as a practice field for their amazing football team as early as this next Fall. Great things are happening in the “field” of education in South Seattle and we look forward to what the future brings!

                ¡Feliz Semana de las Escuelas Católicas! Estamos muy agradecidos por las bendiciones de nuestras Escuelas Católicas y quería destacar las escuelas que tenemos aquí en nuestro Grupo. Estamos muy orgullosos de las grandes cosas que están sucediendo aquí en el sur de Seattle. En primer lugar, quiero agradecer a todos nuestros profesores y personal de la Escuela Parroquial de St. George . ¡Estamos básicamente llenos y las cosas están zumbando por allí! Tenemos un excelente cuerpo estudiantil, maravillosos maestros, excelentes padres y familias, y una directora maravillosa. Esperamos nuestra Subasta el 11 de marzo e invitamos a todos los ex alumnos y amigos a venir y celebrar con nosotros. En segundo lugar, me gustaría felicitar a nuestro Centro de Aprendizaje Temprano en St. Paul . ¡Recientemente recibieron una subvención de $308,000 de la ciudad de Seattle para expandir dos aulas más en los próximos dos años! ¡También queremos felicitar a nuestros socios en St. Edward— Seattle Nativity School !
