Dear Families

                As Easter approaches I wanted to remind people of our Holy Week Schedule and why we’re doing what we’re doing in each of the parishes. We have enclosed the Holy Week Schedule in the bulletin, and we encourage you to put it up on the fridge as a reminder. As you know, with only two priests, we cannot celebrate the full Triduum at each parish. As we’ve done the last couple of years, we have combined St. Edward with St. Paul and St. George with St. Peter. That way, we can celebrate the Sacred Triduum (Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday) with the fullest expression that each of the Liturgies deserves. We’ve kept the order the same so that people know what to expect and have tried to accommodate as many people as possible.

                In addition, I have made a concerted effort to find a priest for each parish for Easter Sunday. That way, we are able to offer two Masses on Easter to accommodate the extra people who come that day. We are grateful to Fr. Simon Kim, Fr. Joseph Long Tran, and Fr. Alex Pablo for helping us out for Easter. We will have an 8:30 and 10:30 am Mass at all four of the parishes! A special word of “Thanks” to Fr. Armando Perez as well for all the hard work he does and his on-going presence with our communities. Have a blessed Holy Week and a Happy Easter!

Queridas familias

                A medida que se acerca la Pascua, quería recordarle a la gente nuestro horario de Semana Santa y por qué estamos haciendo lo que estamos haciendo en cada una de las parroquias. Adjuntamos el Horario de Semana Santa en el boletín, y le animamos a ponerlo en el refrigerador como recordatorio. Como saben, con solo dos sacerdotes, no podemos celebrar el Triduo completo en cada parroquia. Como lo hemos hecho en los últimos años, hemos combinado St. Edward con St. Paul y St. George con St. Peter. Así podremos celebrar el Sagrado Triduo (Jueves Santo, Viernes Santo y Sábado Santo) con la máxima expresión que merece cada una de las Liturgias. Hemos mantenido el mismo orden para que las personas sepan qué esperar y hemos tratado de acomodar a la mayor cantidad de personas posible.

                Además, he hecho un esfuerzo concertado para encontrar un sacerdote para cada parroquia para el Domingo de Pascua. De esa manera, podemos ofrecer dos Misas en Semana Santa para acomodar a las personas adicionales que vienen ese día. Estamos agradecidos al p. Simón Kim, el P. Joseph Long Tran, y el P. Alex Pablo por ayudarnos en Semana Santa. ¡Tendremos misa a las 8:30 y 10:30 am en las cuatro parroquias! Una palabra especial de “Gracias” al P. Armando Pérez también por todo el arduo trabajo que hace y su presencia continua en nuestras comunidades. ¡Feliz Semana Santa y Felices Pascuas! Obviamente tenemos la misa a la 1 pm en Español también!

Ông bà anh chị em thân mến!

     Lễ Phục sinh gần đến, tôi muốn nhắc nhở mọi người về Lịch trình Tuần Thánh và đó là lý do chúng ta có thể làm những gì cho trong mỗi giáo xứ. Tôi đã đính kèm Lịch trình Tuần Thánh trong bản thông tin, và tôi cũng khuyến khích quý ông anh chị em lấy tờ Lịch Trình về kẹp trên tủ lạnh để nhắc nhở chúng ta. Như anh chị em đã biết, Giáo xứ chỉ có hai linh mục, cho nên chúng ta không thể cử hành trọn vẹn Thánh Lễ Tạm Nhật Vượt Qua tại mỗi giáo xứ. Như chúng ta đã từng làm trong vài năm qua, chúng ta đã liên kết với các giáo xứ, St. Edward với St. Paul và St. George với St. Peter. Bằng cách đó, chúng ta có thể cử hành Tam Nhật Thánh (Thứ Năm Tuần Thánh, Thứ Sáu Tuần Thánh  và Thứ Bảy Tuần Thánh) như thế sẽ diễn tả đầy đủ nhất để công việc Phụng Vụ được xứng đáng và hoàn tất hơn. Tôi đã giữ nguyên lịch trình theo thứ tự để quý ông bà anh chị em nắm được, và biết những gì mong đợi những gì để mọi người biết khi có thể.

Ngoài ra, tôi đang cố gắng kiếm thêm sự trợ giúp từ một linh mục khác cho mỗi giáo xứ vào ngày Chúa Nhật Phục Sinh. Bằng cách đó, chúng ta có thể dâng hai Thánh Lễ vào ngày Phục Sinh để phục vụ thêm những người đến ngày hôm đó. Tôi biết ơn Cha Simon Kim, Cha Joseph Long Tran và Cha Alex Pablo đã giúp đỡ chúng tôi trong Lễ Phục sinh. Chúng ta sẽ có Thánh lễ 8:30am và 10:30am sáng tại cả bốn giáo xứ! Một lời đặc biệt "Cảm ơn" đến Cha Armando Perez đã giúp đỡ giáo xứ với tất cả những công việc khó khăn mà Cha đã làm và sự hiện diện liên tục của Cha với cộng đồng của chúng ta. Xin chúc quý ông bà anh chị em có một Tuần Thánh may mắn và một lễ Phục sinh hạnh phúc!
