Dear Families

This weekend we honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their country. Memorial Day is a time to remember those who served and died in the service of our freedom. We pray for those who have died in battle and pray for an end to war and conflict throughout the world. May the Prince of Peace rule in the hearts of those responsible for making decisions to engage in conflict or try to solve conflicts in a peaceful way. As we honor those who have died, we pledge ourselves anew to refrain from needless war and conflict that we might put down the weapons of war and take up the armor of peace.

Queridas familias

Este fin de semana honramos a quienes dieron el máximo sacrificio por su país. El Día de los Caídos es un momento para recordar a quienes sirvieron y murieron al servicio de nuestra libertad. Oramos por aquellos que han muerto en batalla y oramos por el fin de la guerra y los conflictos en todo el mundo. Que el Príncipe de la Paz gobierne en los corazones de los responsables de tomar decisiones para entablar conflictos o tratar de resolverlos de manera pacífica. Al honrar a quienes han muerto, nos comprometemos nuevamente a abstenernos de guerras y conflictos innecesarios para poder deponer las armas de guerra y tomar la armadura de la paz.

Cuối tuần này chúng ta tôn vinh những người đã hy sinh hết mình cho đất nước của họ. Ngày Tưởng niệm là thời gian để tưởng nhớ những người đã phục vụ và hy sinh vì tự do của chúng ta. Chúng ta cầu nguyện cho những người đã hy sinh trong trận chiến và cầu nguyện cho chiến tranh và xung đột trên toàn thế giới chấm dứt. Xin Hoàng tử Hòa bình ngự trị trong tâm hồn những người chịu trách nhiệm đưa ra quyết định tham gia vào cuộc xung đột hoặc cố gắng giải quyết xung đột một cách hòa bình. Khi chúng ta tôn vinh những người đã chết, chúng ta cam kết một lần nữa sẽ kiềm chế chiến tranh và xung đột không cần thiết để chúng ta có thể hạ vũ khí chiến tranh và mặc áo giáp hòa bình.
