Dear Families

 As we celebrate Pentecost, we pray that the Holy Spirit may come into our lives and transform us to become more like Jesus in our interactions. I invite you to spend some time this week in prayer doing just that. Sit down and spend some quiet time in prayer and invite the Holy Spirit into your heart and life. Ask the Spirit to guide your thoughts, words and actions. We need to avail ourselves of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and this is the perfect time to do so. Pentecost is the birth of the Church and as we celebrate her birthday, may we open our own hearts to be truly daughters and sons of the church. Please pray that our parish communities and our new Parish Family follow the promptings of the Spirit and that we may be transformed into the Body of Christ here in South Seattle. The power of the Spirit knows no bounds. Take time to stretch yourself and know the healing touch of the Spirit in your life.

Al celebrar Pentecostés, oramos para que el Espíritu Santo venga a nuestras vidas y nos transforme para llegar a ser más como Jesús en nuestras interacciones. Te invito a pasar algún tiempo esta semana en oración haciendo precisamente eso. Siéntate y pasa un momento de tranquilidad en oración e invita al Espíritu Santo a tu corazón y a tu vida. Pídele al Espíritu que guíe tus pensamientos, palabras y acciones. Necesitamos aprovechar los dones del Espíritu Santo y este es el momento perfecto para hacerlo. Pentecostés es el nacimiento de la Iglesia y al celebrar su cumpleaños, que abramos nuestro propio corazón para ser verdaderamente hijas e hijos de la Iglesia. Por favor oren para que nuestras comunidades parroquiales y nuestra nueva Familia Parroquial sigan los impulsos del Espíritu y podamos ser transformados en el Cuerpo de Cristo aquí en el sur de Seattle. El poder del Espíritu no conoce límites. Tómate el tiempo para estirarte y conocer el toque sanador del Espíritu en tu vida.

 Khi cử hành Lễ Hiện Xuống, chúng ta cầu nguyện xin Chúa Thánh Thần ngự vào cuộc sống của chúng ta và biến đổi chúng ta để trở nên giống Chúa Giêsu hơn trong các mối tương tác của chúng ta. Tôi mời bạn dành chút thời gian trong tuần này để cầu nguyện và làm điều đó. Hãy ngồi xuống và dành chút thời gian yên tĩnh để cầu nguyện và mời Chúa Thánh Thần ngự vào trái tim và cuộc sống của bạn. Hãy cầu xin Chúa Thánh Thần hướng dẫn suy nghĩ, lời nói và hành động của bạn. Chúng ta cần tận dụng những ân tứ của Chúa Thánh Thần và đây là thời điểm hoàn hảo để làm điều đó. Lễ Hiện Xuống là ngày khai sinh của Giáo Hội và khi chúng ta kỷ niệm ngày sinh nhật của Giáo Hội, xin cho chúng ta mở rộng trái tim mình để trở thành những người con thực sự của Giáo Hội. Xin hãy cầu nguyện để các cộng đồng giáo xứ và Gia đình Giáo xứ mới của chúng ta tuân theo sự thúc đẩy của Thánh Thần và để chúng ta có thể được biến đổi thành Nhiệm Thể Chúa Kitô tại Nam Seattle. Sức mạnh của Thánh Linh không có giới hạn. Hãy dành thời gian để rèn luyện bản thân và nhận biết sự chữa lành của Thánh Linh trong cuộc sống của bạn.
